Text Options > SPE Personal Message
This feature is used to send a quick email to someone, using a template but not having to go to the email editor and change the text each time. The Personal Message feature allows you to merge your text from the "Personal Message" section of the Swiftpage plugin for your database.
This will insert a special tag in your template: [[SpePersonalMessage]]. This tag is replaced by the text from the plugin when you send a Swiftpage Email from your application. Once you have this tag in your email, the box for the Personal Message within the Swiftpage plugin for your database will be available to type a message.
To add the SPE Personal Message to your email:
- Click on the SwiftWindow that you want the Personal Message tag to reside.
- Under the tab, select the button.
- Click on the button.
- Put your cursor where you would like your personal message tag to go.
- From the drop down menu, select the Personal Message field.
